"Spring(field) in our step" - St Peters SFD

On Saturday, May 10, St Peters Springfield will join hundreds of others in Brisbane Walk My Way to raise awareness and provide life-changing essentials—like food, education, and safety—for 75,000 vulnerable children affected by conflict and poverty.

We’ve committed to a walking challenge to shine a light on the struggles children face when fleeing conflict or enduring poverty. It's a way for us to reflect on the hardships they encounter while seeking refuge and safety, and to rally our community to make a meaningful difference.

But we’re not stopping there. We’re also fundraising to ensure that these children can access the basic necessities of a happy, healthy life—things many of us often take for granted. Every dollar raised will go towards providing nutritious food, quality education, and safe living environments for children who need it most.

 - $25 can provide a school kit for a refugee child in the Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya.

 - $25 can supply 5kg of maize seeds for four families in Burundi, helping them grow food for their children.

 - $25 can provide clean drinking water for a child impacted by war in Ukraine for a full month.
